Branch outing to Castlecomer

The venue for the next walk of the Waterford branch will be to Castlecomer Discovery Park, Co. Kilkenny on Sunday 9th October.

The walk will be led by their education officer Nichola Salmon.
There will be car pooling from Millers Marsh carpark at 1.15 with the walk due to start at 2.30 and will last approximately 90 minutes.

The emphasis will be on the heritage of the park, both natural and cultural. There will be an opportunity to visit the Interpretative exhibition afterwards and I can recommend the sticky toffee pudding from the cafe.
